A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for the site to work, others measure how it is used. This page also covers equivalent technologies such as browser local storage.
No analytics tracker runs until you accept. The banner shown on your first visit pre-selects nothing: until you click, no analytics cookie exists and no browsing data is sent.
One strictly necessary exception: your choice itself is kept in your browser's local storage under the key triday_analytics_consent_v1. Without it the banner would reappear on every page. That information never leaves your device.

Payments are handled by Stripe, which sets its own cookies at checkout for transaction security and fraud prevention. Those fall under Stripe's own policy and only occur if you start a payment.
